KoMore than 60 painters participated in the annual 9-day  marathon of creating art in the great outdoors and capturing the glories of the ancient history en plein air.  "Heart of the City"  was started at 9:30 AM and finished up at 7:30 PM — a record in one day to complete.  Other entries include the Santa Maria restaurant, closed following hurricanes Matthew and Irma, and the Santa Monica Hotel from the archway of the Lightner Museum during the quick draw event featured in Outdoor Painter magazine.

Watercolors of O.C. White's garden and a nocturnal  of the Bridge of Lions rounded out the week.
